There is something wonderful about snuggling up by the fireplace with a loved one and a cup of hot chocolate.
2 Tablespoons Guittard Cocoa Rouge Cocoa Powder
(Red Dutch Process)
8 ounces milk (1 cup)
1 Tablespoon Sugar
Pinch of Salt
Heat milk to hot.
Add cocoa, sugar and salt to a cup. With a whisk stir in 1/4 cup of hot milk and beat until well blended.
Add the rest of the hot milk and whisk well.
Top with kahlua whipped cream and enjoy by the fire!
Kahlua Whipped Cream:
1 cup heavy cream
3 Heaping Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
2 Tablespoons Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
Place all ingredients into a bowl and whip at high speed until stiff peaks form. Do not over beat.
